787 would indeed be a special number for a pilot (Boeing 787 Dreamliner). Quite a few of my pilot friends have numbers of the aircraft they fly, most common being 0320 (A320), 0737 (Boeing 737), 0747 (Boeing 747). You could definitely ask for a premium from a pilot if you ever sell your car to him/her

This brought my curiosity back. How come some present day cars have numbers like these? Nick can you share this photograph at the registration number thread too (I forgot the exact link.)

in kerala many have huge craze for car numbers, few top stars like the number 369 and 5555 besides this other number that has the maximum value is number 1, also i have my number 4488 for both my verna and my figo. just madness, that all. i have heard of auctioning at prices above rs 7laks in calicut rto for a particular number. age is just a number says sachin tendulkar.

My 2 Bits. We own 4 cars, all of them have the number 9955. Didnt have to pay anything for the first 3. For the i10 to get that number I had to pay Rs 5000.
