Hi. Are 2 wheelers/cars from the same website?

I am checking for Bangalore, but unable to see fancy numbers; only running numbers are present:

https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/fancy...lNumbers.xhtml

Also when trying to register, I am not able to see Karnataka in the site, or Tamilnadu

How does one book a VIP number or even check out the rates for Delhi?
The website https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/fancy...lNumbers.xhtml does not have Delhi RTO in the drop down list.

Can one book it online for Delhi or are agents the only way ?

Hi,
Step 1 : you need to login at the page https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/fancy...ic/login.xhtml

Step 2 : Decide if you want the available fancy numbers or you'd want to go in for auction. Say for example, something like 8585 is available off the shelf while something like 8888 will have to go through Auction

Step 3 For Available numbers : There's a selection of Authority combinations to chose from. Example DL14XX, DL11XX and so on. Check available desired numbers in these combinations. Cough up INR 25,000 and the number is yours.

Step 3 For Auction : You'd have to register and then participate in bidding.

From their website "Registration: 6:00 AM (day 1) to 12:00 midnight (day 3).
Bidding : After midnight (day 3) to 05:00 PM (day 5)

The registration fee for e-auction will be Rs.1000. The registration feeand the reserve price of the number will be paid online for all the categories. The amount of registration fee i.e Rs. 1000 will be non refundable. After success of payment registration will be complete"

The base charges are mentioned in the image (taken from screenshots on their site)

Step 4 : Get the vehicle registered at RTO Mall Road with the number of your choice.

Hope this helps!

Hi Sahil, You have to use the auction process if it is a "fancy" number listed in the categories 1 to 4 on the Parivahan Website.

If it is a number in the regular series you can use the "first come first serve" link. You then have to go to number selection in the top left corner and that will bring you to the page where you select your RTO series. DL3 for Sheikh Sarai (South Delhi) RTO, DL 12 for Vasant Kunj etc.

The charges for a regular series number is Rs.25,000 whereas the "fancy" numbers have a minimum bid price according to the category list and then they are auctioned from time to time.

The page below helps explain the process better. Hope this helps.

For those not interested in fancy numbers but want to have digits that go along with their own personal numerology:

Offline software,
http://www.2near.com/edge/numerology/

Or use any online service if you are ok with it.

An app on iOS that's handy is
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pocket...y/id1084344273

Please suggest an Android version.

Usage:
1 - Calculate your life path number https://astrologyfutureeye.com/fortu...erology?report
2 - Calculate the proposed vehicle registration number in total
3 - The idea is that the total of the vehicle registration number should be compatible with your life path number.

DISCLAIMER- I'm an amateur of this subject, please do correct the list if the numbers or directions are incorrect. The list is made out of curiosity.

After reading this post, I immediately started getting to feel a spooky experience. Just having some 4 digit numbers on a vehicle is made so complex by human beings. Is this life really so scary to live?

Registration number is just an identity to a vehicle. Why should it be related to the life, future and attribute it to all other happenings in the life?

Am really confused. This is just my personal opinion

Hi guys,
I had gotten a choice number from MH47 RTO in the second week of March. Since validity of the choice number is just one month the dealer as well as the agent are not able to guarantee whether I will be able to get the number now.

I am sure there are many who are stuck in a similar situation like me. How are you guys tackling it?

My car goes in for registration on Monday.
