Maruti has also launched the cab version of the EECO as Tour V , as per the owners manual posted here:https://marutistoragenew.blob.core.w...M78L50-74E.pdf

Thanks for sharing, Leoshashi! Moving Tour V to its own thread.

Used Ctrl+F on the manual; found 0 results for ABS, ESP, EBD and Airbags.

I initially believed they renamed the car just to add these safety measures. :P

Refer the discussions in another thread wherein a court had ordered MS to honor warranty in case of hydrostatic failure. Nice to see on pg 7-6 that now they've clearly written not to drive the vehicle in places where the water depth is more than 300 mm.

The EECO was anyway a pretty bare-bones vehicle hardly used by private owners. The only private plate EECOs that I have seen are either used for school-van duties or by small store owners for carrying materials. What more has MSIL removed from the car to make the "TOUR V"?

Have they relaunched the 1st generation DZire as "Tour S"?

Saw a new looking 1st generation DZire cab yesterday, and instead of the "DZire Tour" sticker - it only had a "Tour S" badge with no mention of DZire anywhere.

Isn't the 2nd Gen (outgoing model, sub4m) Dzire available as TOUR S now? Maybe same sticker was applied either by the user or the assembly line worker on one of the last batches of 1st gen TOUR (large boot, 4m+)

The 1st gen Tour has been discontinued if I'm not mistaken.
