Spoke to Hyundai Customer Care. He looked up online and confirmed that cruise control is *not* there in base variant. He asked which salesman told me otherwise, and then conferenced him in. Then the salesman told me he'll get to the bottom of it and revert tomorrow.

You can see that the Tucson base variant had cruise control:

But the latest version of brochure shows that cruise control is missing in the base variant:

So it looks like with the recent drop in prices of other variants (and addition of AWD variant), they have probably removed cruise control in the base variant. That straightaway removes it from my shopping list. Very frustrating to see Hyundai drop a feature in a Rs 24 lakh model that is available even in Rs 12 lakh models nowadays!

Friends, this is a query for prospective buyer of Tucson 4WD AT GLS (only comes in Diesel) - Any information on what mileage can we expect in city and highway in both scenarios - with 4WD and with 4WD switched off?
