In fact whenever I looked at the mpv, I also had flashes of these cars in front of my eyes. I mean, maybe they want it to obliterate the Crysta this time around like it was pitted against the Innova in the earlier iteration, at least for the tourist vehicle guys. But the similarities are really scary this time. Like, the first time I saw it, it was so bang on similar to Crysta up in the front. Very INSPIRED car.

New report indicates the New Ertiga to launch in Mid -November. Will not meet the delivery dates of the festive season and hence a delayed launch.

Any MPV with flat bonnet in dark color looks like a Hearse, if you wish to view it that way!

I personally find it good enough for a people carrier, Volvoish rear looks neat.

Unlikely!! If they had 5 AT they would have offered it on Ciaz already.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga to launch in both petrol and diesel variants. Though the petrol variant will be the NEW 1.5l engine the 1.3 DDiS will be retained.Both variants are expected to be offered with a six-speed manual transmission as standard and an AMT for the diesel variant as well.

I have been told by an SE in Bengaluru that booking has begun unofficially. Does anyone know if this is true?

This is an interesting news. So Ertiga will be the first Maruti model to go on sale with 6 speed gear box.

Yes. I also heard regular dealers are accepting booking with 11K. During my Ciaz test drive I was checking with SA at Nexa on Ertiga. As per him it will be sold through regular channel and not Nexa. He also mentioned this could change at any time.

S cross with the 1.6 diesel was the first model with a 6 speeder.

Gaadiwaadi reports that the new Ertiga will launch on 18th November with Ciaz's 1.5L petrol and 1.3L diesel engines. The petrol model may get the 4 speed automatic transmission as well at launch. Prices are expected to start from a little over Rs. 7 lakhs due to change in platform, new bigger petrol engine and added standard safety features etc.
