Maruti Care - Maruti Suzuki's service app has been updated with new features.



The app now gives customers the choice to make service bookings and remotely check status of their vehicle being serviced. It also displays an estimated cost of service. The app features an integrated payment solution which will allow customers to make payments digitally through a secured payment gateway.



The revised app can send reminders whenever service is due and will help locate the nearest Maruti authorized service centre. Customers can also access their past service records, cost of maintenance etc. through the app.



The app integrates GPS enabled emergency road-side assistance service and provides driving and maintenance tips. An online feedback option is also available.



Maruti Care app is available on iOS and Android platforms.

Downloaded the app. Tried to register. Didn't recognize the VIN or Registration Number. Then it gave a screen for registering manually and still was not successful. Gave some generic error "Please try after sometime".:deadhorse

However, my experience with Ford App was far far better. Have to see if MSIL will fix the app soon.

Does this app guarantee that the car would be serviced, rather than just washing and ASS folks having their lunch inside the car? :D

By any chance does the app have options to select if the service is actually required or the customer is just wanting to send the car because the wifey said so or if their is any information on how many people would sit inside and have their food while the car's AC keeps them cool?

Perhaps it could have a feature for the technicians to give feedback to the owner on how comfortable the seats and AC are for relaxing inside and having lunch, and a rating system for his/her collection of music :D

This is becoming a troll thread for Maruti Service :D

On a serious note the GPS enabled emergency road-side assistance service would be very helpful to find the location of the car during a breakdown if it is actually used by the service personnel (unlike uber/ola guy asking where should I come even after seeing the location on his phone). It would also be very useful to access the past service records on the go.
Waiting for a feedback from someone who has actually used this app but I see it already has glitches which is not good news.

Free pick up and drop is not available in Bangalore. At least in RNS or Varun motors. Even in the on demand jobs it is listed as INR160 or so. Don't know about free pollution check.
