i don't think cops usually stop such big cars and ask for more details. They know people keeping 20 lakhs car are not ordinary people hence usually don't mess with them. Just my experience.

and it has a bumpy ride for the rear, 2nd row, passengers. Although I liked the auto box picking up pace...

The rear seat are very un comfortable you kind of keep on slipping and jumping and would be forced to wear the seat belts.

Is the bumpy ride because of the short wheel base which leads to seating above the rear wheels or too close to the rear wheel?

I have seen this in person, and well......
as the dude before said, it looks a bit like a confused and quaint ssangyong type design.

IMO the previous version was far more executive looking.

Any way it is bad that Honda thinks they can get away with any kind of pricing. Whether it is City or Civic or CR-V, Honda guys know that still people will buy it.
And why is it priced much higher than Accord?

Just wait for the pricing of the new Accord, which would be coming in the next few months.

That means they can introduce another car at 15 lacs range? Is there something which will fit in that range in their stable?

Saw a Red one a couple of weeks back right opposite to Shell Petrol pump near Lavelle Road. Looked pretty good and much butch than the old model.

The pricing is a tad too high though. All the more reason for Toyota to get the Fortuner to India and price it right.

Honda seems to have done it again... (elegant and beautiful OHC replaced by ugly NHC) and now the elegant old CRV with a really really ugly (IMHO) new CRV.

Atleast on paper the CRV seems really ugly, but then one can never really tell even the Porsche Cayenne seemed so on paper, but in real life is stunning.

I think it's time Honda thought about getting the Odyssey to fill the gap between the Civic and the CR-V/Accord.

20+lakhs is a huge jump. Guess it's a real test for Honda's brand power.
