| ![]() Comparing this to the Wagon R would obviously make it look better. However, it does not hold a candle to the Tiago. I understand we do need to wait for further details, but if I were to consider a car in this budget based on available details it would still be the Tiago for me. |

| ![]() I like the car and the grille is a direct lift from the Hyundai Ioniq EV. Perhaps Hyundai has plans for an electric Santro in the future. |

| ![]() IMHO this looks more like a heavily re-worked version of 1st generation i10 rather than an all new car. A bit disappointed with the design. But interiors looks very nice and fresh from the spy shots published earlier. Happy to see the Santro moniker back on a Hyundai. Brings in lots of nostalgia as the original first generation Santro was the first car in our family. ![]() |

| ![]() Is the power down from the original 1.1 liter engine?? The old one came with a 67 BHP engine. Motoroids claims the engine produces 69 BHP. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() That is an odd looking car, as far as my opinion goes. As someone pointed out, it looks like a car grown from discarded dies from old portfolio in production from Hyundai. Rear Door - old i10, Headlamps - Old Xcent / Grand i10. Pricing will be crucial. |

Also it seems like a tradition for Hyundai to put a quirk where its absolutely not necessary.. that swooping cuts from the front fender to the front door and the rear lights to the rear door weren't required at all as they neither are organic like their former fluidic design, nor is sophisticated like their current storm-edge. That kink in the rear window-line may not have been necessary as well.. how much can visibility improve with an additional half-inch of depth? | |

| ![]() Oops, I had high hopes on the looks after seeing the Cartorq render. Though the car doesn't look offensive, it looks a little odd. The character line on the front door and fender is very Mahindra ish ![]() Anyway, being a Hyundai, good to see the car is packed with features and thumps up for default safety features across all variants (Standard Dual air bags across all variants would have been nice). |

| ![]() Why has Hyundai not made both airbags as standard? The least they should have done is this. Market is anyway moving in this direction and if Hyundai provides passenger airbag only in the top most variant-Asia, then its a serious setback to safety. Also, no pictures of the rear hatch door. Earlier spyshots and lack of new images of the rear from Hyundai tells us that this may not be the most attractive side of the car! |

| ![]() This gives me the same feeling when Maruti (re) launched the Zen as Zen Estillo. It somehow carried only the name but really no visual characteristics of the original car. So while the new car sure has its merits, it doesnt play on the nostalgia much. They might as well have tried reworking the Eon as Santro few years ago and given it a try. |
