I am still waiting for a clear reply from Orion mall team. They claim that they are still waiting for the revised price list from Honda

Quick update. I paid gift tax directly to IT authorities, it is 30.9% of 999500. If the amount is more than 10L then there is an additional 10% surcharge.

Honda was supposed to issue a letter in my name last week explaining the other charges I need to pay. However that got pushed to 19 Jan for some administrative reasons (as per Orion team). Apparently they issued the letter to the other winner but missed mine.

Big update. Finally everything is sorted and I took delivery of my BRV Automatic today. Honda agreed to upgrade from manual to CVT since I was ready to pay the difference. The final deal was free insurance and free accessories worth 23k. I opted for seat covers, bumper guards, steering cover, door garnish and seat console( armrest). Colour is pearl white.

The dealer assigned by Honda was magnum Honda. The overall customer service and delivery experience was good.

Thanks to Orion mall team and Honda for all their support.

I am planning a headunit upgrade soon.

On road price for CVT - 1509653
Funding from Honda/Orion - 970200
Difference - 539453
Gift tax - 308846
Total from my pocket - 848299

Please note that I had an upgrade from SMT to CVT , otherwise would have been couple of lakhs cheaper.

Got free insurance and free accessories worth 23k.

Here is a pic from the showroom. Delivery from magnum Honda. I opted for pearl white and assumed that it was somewhat yellow based on the reviews from different forums. I was out of country so my brother did the pre delivery check. No regrets, pearl white looks good.

Congrats newway on taking delivery of your B-RV Auto. I think it took more than 3 months to get delivery after winning. You did a good thing taking a variant of your choice by paying the difference. I am so happy (and jealous) for you!
