You took the words out of my head. The first word came into my mind is a cross-over. (Subaru Outback came into my mind). May be the fiat also come with a 4WD option for this beauty.

This is the current shape of the Adventure as sold in Brazil, South Africa, etc. It comes fitted with a 1.8 litre 120 BHP engine there. It carries over the Palio facelifts and a few others specific to Adventure alone.

Frankly, I find the older shape of Adventure (as currently sold in India) better and more macho. The new shape is more car-like. Does not feature a bull bar either.

It may be the missing bull bar that adds a lil bit of feminity to it, if I may call it so.

I'd still love the 120 BHP 1.8L engine on it. Would it make this handsome fastest to reach 0->100 KMPH ?

I think the one released in Brazil comes with 1.8L Flex engine...it runs both on ethanol and petrol... (no diesel cars in Brazil)

This is the Palio currently being sold in Turkey.

So whats the big deal eh? Its the same old Palio we've known since the past 6 six years.Wrong!Well atleast half wrong!

Because this is the surprising bit ---

.Wow!! Fiat is actually selling the Palio with the current one's rear and the new one's front. That was probably to reduce costs.Or did they do it on purpose since the new Palio's rear isn't as appealing as the old one?
Hmm,whatever the reasons,it looks perfect to me this way.

I think Fiat India should have done the same...they should have given just the front a face lift, and instead of giving it an uninspiring rear, they should've investing the moolah in upgrading the interiors.Bah,what a waste.Have they done anything right in the past anyways?

But I want this!!

Even though i don't think FIAT will launch it in India...but replacing it with the 1.6 won't be a bad decision in any way.
This is the Fiat Palio 1.8R, currently available in Brazil only.

And the best thing...Engine: 1.8 L with 8 and 16-valve versions, derived from the "Torque" 1.6 L 16-valve engine. Power outputs 121 and 134ps.

Imagine the torque and power a tuned palio like that would have... Would blow the rest of the lot, even segments above...

Only if the dealer is carrying some existing stocks. I heard that they have discontinued the 1.6 L as of now.

Got call from Fortune Cares Mumbai that Palio 1.6 Sport will be available from Jan 15th onward.(Had enquired earlier for 1.6 when discounts were on, but stock got over). Colours other than Red & Yellow also will be available.
What are the latest updates...

Will it be available as the new look or they would be using the older body shells? Can you check please...
