Honda introduces special editions of City, Amaze and WR-V

Honda has launched special editions of the City, Amaze and WR-V. These include - Honda City 20th Anniversary Edition, Honda Amaze Pride Edition and Honda WR-V Edge Edition.

The Honda City recently completed 20 years in India. To mark this occasion, Honda has introduced the 20th Anniversary Edition. Based on the top-end ZX variant of the sedan, this edition is priced at Rs. 13,74,532 for Petrol CVT and 13,82,382 for Diesel MT (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The car comes with chrome inserts on the front bumper and the lower portion of the doors. Additionally, it gets a molding on the boot and a 20th Annivrsary Edition emblem. Buyers also get a 1 month free subscription of Honda Connect, which offers various features related to vehicle maintenance, utility and connected car features.

The Honda Amaze Pride Edition is based on the S(O) trim of the car and priced at Rs. 6,29,900 for the petrol version and Rs. 7,83,486 for the diesel (ex-showroom, Delhi). The car gets features such as rear parking sensors, a 7-inch Digipad AVN system, Pride Edition seat covers, front centre arm rest and steering wheel cover. On the outside, it gets a Pride Edition emblem and chrome and black garnish on the edges of the doors.

The Honda WR-V Edge Edition is based on the S variant of the compact SUV. It comes with 16-inch, multi-spoke alloy wheels in a gunmetal finish, an Edge Edition emblem, rear camera with a display in the IRVM, rear parking sensors, and a 1 month free subscription to Honda Connect. The ex-showroom Delhi prices for the petrol MT and diesel MT variants are Rs.8,01,017 and Rs. 9,04,683 respectively.

So, nothing noteworthy but small cosmetic and equipment changes that can be retrofitted at the dealer end. The only meaningful additions: reverse camera/sensors will probably work out cheaper as standalone items.
