The diesel auto is atleast 6 months away from an India launch, we should have reports from the Australian Compass by then. If it turns out to be problematic in Australia,then we go shopping elsewhere.

At 30L, I'd rather buy the Endeavor Trend AT. I hope they surprise us by launching the AT in the 4X2 Limited variant.

It would not sell if close to 30L.

Most of the BMW range uses ZF. So no BMWs would be sold if ZF box reliability was only considered. Let's not assume reliability any higher that Dual Clutch but that is no reason to not go ahead and buy.

So is this the India spec? Interesting to have one spotted this early. So is the launch around the corner?

No dual tone roof? I thought all Trailhawks were top spec and would come with a black roof. With the body coloured roof the panoramic sunroof looks ruled out for the India spec.

This is a new colour by name magnesium grey. It will be available by this weekend as per the sales guys. No info about the trailhawk variant though

At 25 OTR I might go for a Trailhawk 4x4 AT. AT 4x4 gives it an edge over Hexa which does not have the combination.

At 30 Endeavour base model seems to be the better deal or even Hexa top model at 22.

Isn't the Limited 4*4 already above 25L OTR? Limited (O) should cost more too.

Trailhawk will cost more due to the AT plus different 4*4 hardware compared to the Limited.

Limited (O) 4*4 is like 26.8 lakhs OTR Bangalore. I expect the Trailhawk to cost 30 big ones. I expect Jeep to price this a little steep so as to keep the demand for the automatic low and ensure that the manuals sell.

I see no reason for Jeep to launch the Trailhawk over the regular automatic.

It probably is to create this halo product and also at the same time the steep price will bring in limited numbers.

Jeep does not want to be bursting at the seams right now, not until they get their quality and niggles right.

Small Correction: Limited (O) 4x4 [Top End] is Rs.27.56 L /- after the 2018 Price Hike from Jeep.

Thanks. Black interiors, looks like cruise control is present. No dummy buttons on the steering wheel.

Is that the 8.4 inch touch screen?

All things considered the Trailhawk should be about the same price as the Limited since it too may not have a sunroof and it does loose out on DCT and some other bits. It's really a question of the difference in cost of the engines.

Quite confused reading this. To clarify - Limited 1.4 DCT is the variant you are comparing it against?
