Not sure! Seems like GTX will be offered with 6 speed MT and 7 speed DCT.

Lower petrol variants might be offered in CVT which they like to call IVT.

I think everyone is just copy pasting stuff from other websites. Maybe the trainer has mislead everyone with this information. It would be crazy to have some features exclusive to petrol top variant and some features exclusive to diesel top variant. No variant would then be able to provide complete features.

Because initially my dealer friend told me the GT variants is exclusive to the 1.4 petrol alone and the HT variants is for both the 1.5 petrol and the 1.5 diesel. It made sense. But, every other site is now showing that GT_ series is for petrol 1.4 and 1.5 and HT_ series is for diesel alone. I think what is happening is, everyone is simply copying information and forwarding to one another causing all this confusion.

I actually thought that the Seltos was ahead of the XUV 300 and the driver after showing the speedometer was going to chase it. I later realized that the XUV 300 is the Seltos.

I have been using a Kia Optima Sportswagen for the past week. If its anything to go by, VW/Skoda have a lot to be scared of:

Interiors are 90% there - ultimately VAG have better MMI systems
Handling - slightly dull but a very pleasing highway cruiser
Fit and finish - no different from VW apart from VW's nicely machined garnishing
Engines - VW have much better tractable engines
Brakes - VW are more confident

What nails it for Kia in the UK (and makes it a rental favourite ) is that 7 year warranty. Keeps the dealer(assured service revenue) and owner very happy!

Kia has finally confirmed that GTX+ DCT won't be an option with this leaflet. Look at the blanks in the picture below.
These are supposed to be the buttons for Ventilated seats and parking sensors as seen in pictures shared earlier.

Many people are going to be unhappy with the Seltos feature list it seems.

Personally for me its ok, I am looking for AT with decent power, hopefully GTX DCT will be optimally priced. The features missing like camera and sensors and speakers can always be bought separately, its the engine and transmission which you cannot buy later.

That's the painful part from Kia. You spend 19-20 lakhs on a car and then buy an aftermarket camera

For me, I was about to press the trigger and place a booking but will hold for now until there is clarity; I want the DCT but with 360 camera + front sensors.
