As berserk as it may sound, any possibility of changing the transmission altogether to DCT from manual.

To be fair enough if the air cons were designed in the same manner, the start stop button would have been on the left side for our right hand drive, it would be painfully annoying to someone like me. The designers in India were propably wanting the interiors to look true to the concept and yes, the concept car did have the continuity effect on the dashboard. I personally like both the dashboards.

India is also getting the same blue colour - the colour Intelligency blue appears ligher on the website but is actually this colour.

Nope. It will share its colour with the Creta, which is light in shade.

Not really. That dark blue shade in South Korea is called Ocean Blue. We are getting something else like the one in Creta/ Verna/ Ecosport. I seriously don't understand why. That dark blue shade looks more classy, like the one in Hexa/Beemers. Further, if it was dark blue, they wouldn't be showing such a lighter shade on the website.

More and more members of teambhp showing their disapproval of seltos not being launched in gtx+ in dct. I surely feel that kia is missing a plot by not launching top end dct with fully loaded option. I am really disappointed too.

Update from a dealership through a friend - The launch of the Seltos has been preponed to August (1st week). Test drives & vehicle display will begin from August 3rd and deliveries will start by August 22nd. Can anybody else confirm this?

Edit: Dealer friend onfirmed just now that the above news is indeed true.

It's neither the GTK or GTX. The tacho is marked only till 6,000 rpm which means it's the diesel. Since it has smaller display and missing features it's the HTK diesel 6AT variant.
