I think I spotted the same car on the Faridabad roads. Since most was camouflaged I decided to get the most of what was easily available. That's a nice set of alloys.

I think this is not Hyundai, it is Kia.

So this car will come with disc brakes all around (2nd image confirms it). It would be great if it's there in all the variants and not only top end. I hope Hyundai also plonks all disc brakes in Creta across variants without raising it's price as it's already overpriced.

Yes, it does look like as the plates are of AP which has the Kia factory.

Car seems to be ready for a launch !!

Since it is based on Creta which is around for some time now, I wonder if they need such extensive testing anyway and most likely they will share engine and power trains as well.

Two wrong assumptions there -

1. Based on the next generation Creta, and not the current one.

2. Will debut their new BS6 compliant 1.5 Petrol & diesel engine options - which will also come in the next generation Hyundai Creta later.

Interesting new developments at Kia! But let's not forget that all this expertise is based on the Hyundai's experience of the past 2 decades.

Just changed the fan-belt of our venerable 2011 i10, and it mentions the little bit of Kia we have in all 'slanted H' cars..

I read somewhere that the next generation Creta will be offered as a 7 seater (assuming longer) and this car still has similar dimensions as current Creta

I agree with you on the Engine options. Could be the BS-VI testing done by kia/hyundai both

Hyundai and Kia have been jointly designing and developing vehicles since they came together after the economic crisis of late 1990s. Equipment on offer is likely to include a large touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging and in-car WiFi. A head-up display, an ambient lighting package and a fully digital instrument cluster (as seen on the concept) are also said to be on offer on the top-spec version of the final product. Moreover, paddleshifters are also expected for the automatic versions.
