So i think they will proceed cautiously (priced slightly below Creta) on pricing to see response for 5X as they can always increase price by adding more features later on. And this gives them room to price 7X appropriately later on
The 7 seater is a big conundrum. Someone here in the know had said that no prototypes have been built so it should be a good year or two out by which time IMHO there will be more competitors. Hyundai and Mahindra have sensed a market and are working towards tapping the same.

Tata did confuse us as the Harrier has taken a lot from the H7X design including the headlamp cluster the less sloped rear etc to the point that I wonder if other than 2 seats more and distinct C & D pillars if there would be any difference.

I think Tata is betting big on the 5 seater to bring in the volumes and the 7 seater almost looks like an afterthought.

I must say that with the new breed of vehicles, like Zest, Bolt, Nexon, etc, Tata is really putting their heart and soul into their products. After allowing Mahindra to zoom ahead, they are finally putting up a good fight.

I think the Harrier and the 7-Seater version fill a gap where there is virtually no competition with the current crop of Hexa/XUV/Scorpio/Storme etc being extremely long in the tooth.

Looks like Turnaround 2.0 is not only about products, I see lot of effort going in to marketing also. It's amazing to see the amount of buzz they are creating in the market and positioning the product etc is also something not seen earlier with TATA marketing team. Hope this kind of effort is put in to transforming sales and service also which will help them to reach and retain the 3rd position for long.

This site thinks that one of the test mule was a 7 seater. And this was in April

re: Tata H5X Concept @ Auto Expo 2018. Named Tata Harrier! EDIT: Launched @ Rs. 12.69 lakhs

After having checked out discovery sport 7 seater, i don't have high hopes for the Harrier in the same seating configuration. The 3rd row seat base was so low to the floor that anyone over 4ft height will not be able to sit there at all. Then because of the third row discovery sport looses on a full size spare wheel. How TATA will solve these two issue in the Harrier 7 seater remains to be seen.

However the test mules spotted in Ladakh are certainly not H7X. Till C pillar, the H5X and H7X looks same. The H7X profile is more similar to this SRK rendering.
I have been convinced by tushky that there is no H7X mule

As we saw in the expo video the 7 seater is going to be taller somewhat in the Safari sense of things. Given that the Disco Sport is 4600 mm and the Omega Arc Platform can support a car of 4800 mm with the Harrier coming in slightly below 4600 mm. I am hazarding a guess here but looks like the spare can be accommodated on the tailboard like the iconic Safari. The way the video plays looks like there is is no difference in wheelbase.

SRK has tweaked his renderings for Harrier based on the latest teasers from TML.

I am confused as to why everyone is speculating about its size, they did test this with the Land Rover Discovery shell earlier, so one just needs to look at a Discovery to have an idea.

Keen to know about the 2.0L (140hp)diesel motor's turning, Tata's MJD was never as good as Maruti's even on their latest offering Zest and bolt, hope this changes with Harrier.

Thanks SRK. I just have 1 pic I think you need to see which brings out the entire headlight cluster's shape and has the entire cluster including the enclosing metal housing exposed even if its not at super resolution. I have attached the same. Please see if it helps you capture the headlight shape.

Noticed this bad fit & finish in one of their videos.
Tata please improve this for the production model.

They remove beading to put camouflage stickers in on test car, and that does not look like a serious issue.

The Discovery shell is 4600 mm, H5X had 4575 mm and at the time of Omega Arc's reveal it was said to support cars with a max length of 4800 mm. Hence the confusion.

They have just combined all the 3 videos. I'm interested in looking at some off road tests/capabilities, may be some interior space
