IMO, this colour makes the beast totally tamed. Tata needs to bring exciting colour combinations. I hope, my wish will be heard by Tata.

I was also suspecting that they are photoshoped. That gray was too pale and non-shiny to be a silver shade and too light for a gray shade.

One of the dealership Tata had confirmed the Harriers arriving to them around 10th (which were supposed to be display / TD Car) but then it got delayed to 12th then 16th, then 18th and yet it hasnt received any Harriers.

Probably these delays were strategic by Tata Motors.

The cars should arrive soon! I stay very close to Tata motors, Chinchwad plant and see a pretty large inventory of Harriers ready for shipment. These cars are neatly covered with grey car covers and parked within the company premise.

It's only a matter of time when all these cars would hit the showrooms!

All this talk about the auto-trans from Hyundai made me wonder if there was any truth that Hyundai does NOT cover their own AT in their own cars under warranty/guaranty?

The Hyundai dealer said- 'No, we dont cover the A'box.'

So what can Tata do in this case? Delay the purchases of the Hyundai auto-box till such time that their lawyers can write the warranty clause between Tata and Hyundai?

Any corrections or updates on this are welcome.

Further in both cases the images are of an earlier "Harrier" logo design, the newer one seems to have the letters more spread out. So this version should not be for dispatch.

Concorde motors says that they will have the test drive vehicles ready within a week of launch. So hopefully, by this weekend, if we can believe them.

Sorry but I am still not able to digest the front looks of Harrier, It looks damn weird.

Maybe once it is out on roads it will slowly blend itself with other cars.

Had received three calls from Tata after expressing interest on their website. First came from mumbai, felt like a proper PR agency, gave information about launch date and when asked about priced they said the same as that it would in 16-21 L range. Then call came twice from dealer one is to confirm TD request, they said they would get in touch when the TD vehicles is available by weekend, but they bluntly said they cant bring the TD vehicles to site and requested to visit their showroom. Then came another call asking if I would like to book the harrier from the same dealer. Thing to note is the premium feel went down as soon as the dealer communication started, TATA please take note and do have proper trained personnel at all levels if you want to sell a premium product at a premium price tag.

I think the orange colour is what makes it an alien to our eyes. I think a black coloured Harrier may be sweet to look at as the separated headlamps and drl arrangement would be less pronounced then.

You are not alone in this regard!

The Harrier had a very similar face design to the Nissan Juke which was at one time considered one of the ugliest cars! But I guess people's design preferences change over time and people like to be different. When Tata had shown the Prototype concept at the Auto Expo it was really extraordinary but by the time it reached production many aspects got diluted and the front lights is one of them! Waiting though to see it on the road though and I also feel that it will look better in dark colours esp the Arizona Blue (of the Hexa).
