There you have it. Till date most un-camoflaged Harrier on road. The headlamp assembly is properly visible and so is the front grille area. The placement of headlights will be polarizing opinions but will look menacing for sure. And the commanding presence is really good.

Received a mail from TATA stating, the trim and colour will be available to choose from mid December. By Mid January we will be intimated on the delivery dates by the dealers.

Looking at below pictures, I feel we will have lower trims boosting alloys too(at least XM). But projector head lamps will be reserved to top end trims. Also the top variants alloy theme will be different.

Got the following email from TATA yesterday.

Kindly note that the trim and colour details will be available by mid-December, post which you can choose the trim and colour of your choice. Our dealership will update you on the expected date of delivery of your trim and colour by mid-January



Rear wheel are now confirmed to have DRUMS as per these images.

Are we sure that the wheels in the second pic are actual alloys and not the "duraalloy" plastic wheelcovers ?

Cant recollect, but didnt the automatic test mule also had drum at the rear. May be that will be the case across all variants. Also getting a feeling that there wont be a panoramic sunroof in any variant. Tata might introduce a JTP version later with such features

Harrier stands at 4575 mm X 1960 mm X 1686 mm and 2740 wheelbase. Surely, the Harrier looks sizeable on the road and is a winner when compared to the competition like Creta, Compass, Honda CRV and Tucson. Honda CRV is longer by 9mm but 100 mm less on width, 7mm less on height and 80mm lesser wheelbase when compared to the Harrier. I think they got the couple of segments in competition with the size at least.

Just waiting to see more of the Harrier in flesh and blood.

Man! They have leaked the car themselves. A conscious decision of course. The car looks great and if priced well, it should see excellent sales number.

That being said, the rear profile looks a bit bulbous though the front profile is striking to say the least.

The top-end manual Harrier for sure has a 6 speed transmission and 6 airbags as standard. This is from my source. I hope it also has Traction Control as well as ESP which I feel would be there. The car has got looks and supposedly a good engine. If it ticks the right boxes and is priced right, it's going to be a blockbuster. There's a paradigm shift if we look at the Safari and Harrier. Great effort by Tata.

Looks neat! This variant shown has projectors headlamps, read a few comments up that not all variants will sport a projector headlamp setup. So this might be a top end variant but I cannot see a sunroof.

I'm afraid Tata has not equipped the Harrier with a sunroof. I hope atleast a diesel auto will be available. :(
