I second most what has been told. But the safety features has to be force fed to the masses. Problem is that the said manufacturer(s) seem to be interested with gimmicks rather than safety of the passengers. As a result other manufacturers who impress with safety get thrashed in the market - sad reality. Otherwise in entry segment it is better for the masses to travel in a 2 star safety car rather than in a No star safety bike.

Looks like the one on the last Ertiga facelift, which wasn't good at all to begin with. As said by someone earlier, the lower part of the front bumper looks much better than the upper.

All the snaps are of Delta variant as far as I can make out with halogen headlights and normal alloys. Looks like they're tight lipped about the features of Alpha and Zeta so not letting the surprise element out. Maybe the dealerships have been instructed not to let anyone near an Alpha.

The production is more for Delta and Zeta variants. Maruti is expecting more demand there. Most of the dealerships are getting the first lot now (mostly Delta and few Zeta).

1. New 1.5-litre petrol engine rated to develop 104 PS @ 6000 rpm and 138 Nm @ 4400 rpm.

2.Electronic Stability Program and Hill Hold Assist won’t be standard ( for AT only)

3. First Maruti car to get LED fog lamps

4. New standard features: Speed Alert System (SAS) and Seatbelt Reminder (SBR)

5. 2 Airbags only ( no 6 airbag option)

6. Nexa Saftey shield

Maruti sure knows how to market their cars. Other manufactures shy away from even mentioning these features in the brochure. Maruti has highlighted it as a feature worth taking note of ! Nice way to increases the "safety" of the car without adding more weight.

Why Bangalore as the choice of launch location? Is it just a coincidence or does partnership with Toyota has something to do with it?

Still await the day, when Maruti would lead the pack not just in numbers but also in taking the industry in right direction like more than 2 airbags, better safety features, stronger body structure etc.

I had really started believing that only FIAT make cars with windshield wiper nozzles on the bonnet!!
These look so outdated and ugly, especially on a facelift.

I never really liked Ciaz from the day 1, and probably my views are not going change with this iteration.

I think its the market that is designing the Maruti cars, and not the engineers buddy. And as long as that happens, probably we may never ever expect Maruti to offer anything better than what they are doing just now.
