| ![]() One of the reasons for the harsher ride quality is the ridiculous rim size the cars are coming with. These rim sizes are not suitable for Indian road conditions ( Although they do look good). Get this! The ride in my Bolero, which is on 215 width and 15 inch rims has much more plush ride than my Punto which has 16 inch rims with 195 width. |

| ![]() I think for some cars it’s a result of lighter chassis and stiffer suspension, for some it’s a case of compensation for somewhat top heavy handling. The 2020 Creta appears to be in this category in my experience. To answer the question, based on various reports, it appears that the Hector has a very good ride . | ![]() Of the cars io have owned, the 185/65R14 Yokohama C.Drive shod Baleno had the best ride quality, followed by Accord (215/60R16 Ceat Secura Drive) and the Innova (225/60R15 Yohohama Earth) . Till the Innova had the single ply yokohama C.Drives it rode better than the accord. These double ply sidewall Earth tires are made of stone! finally the stiff lady Sonata (215/55R17 Michelin Primacy ST4). She doesnt like any sharp ruts or large bumps. Small ones are dismissed but anything more than a few inches is inviting a thud in the cabin. This shows that more expensive tires don't always compensate enough for the ride.
