Re: 2018 Jaguar XE and XF launched with a new 2.0L petrol engine

Dear all,

A few questions:

1) Is this a good deal?

XE 2.0 petrol Pure variant, with a 7 year EMI of ~28500 and a down-payment of 4.8Lakhs? This is OTR, and an annual bullet of 200000/-. Fresh stock, less than a month with the dealer. <Is there a Jag VIN decoder somewhere?> There is scope for more talks, the rep said.

2) How reliable is the vehicle over the long run? Typical running would be 1000kms a month, fuel costs not a major concern, fuel quality is. Is it a fussy car? Yes, car will be kept long term.

3) Service and ASS: The car would be located in a metro city. Is there a need to be worried sick? The car would be very carefully driven of course, never abused. They have been telling services are cheaper than BMW 3 series, need to independently verify.

4) There is a service and extended warranty package over and above (but somehow they won't club it with the OTR price calculation, yet). Details and best rates awaited.

Thanks!

Looks like its a very good deal. Based on your location Ghaziabad, UP carwale website shows on road price of 46.11 lakh for Pure petrol.
The total amount you would be paying over 7 years is: 2394000 (total monthly emi) + 1400000 (yearly bullet payment) + 480000 (downpayment) . Total is 4274000 - its very good deal on paper.
Does this includes the insurance and road tax or am I missing something. ?

2018 Jaguar XE and XF launched with a new 2.0L petrol engine

Hi,
So recently I've purchased a Jaguar XF Petrol Portfolio (I know that its not the best time to purchase a new car due to BS6 Norms). I went ahead and bought the BS4 Jag. I've driven it for close to 2,500km and all I can tell you is that I've found love.
Its a beautiful car and must own car for all the petrolheads. I'm attaching a few pictures. Those who are planning to purchase something in the range of a BMW 5 Series or something, please look at the Jag. It is definitely a car that has the best road presence in the range and the there is nothing better than going around and telling people that you own a Jaaaggg!
