Slight correction. The previous Baleno never came with LED projectors. The alpha variant had bixenon projectors.

But credit where it’s due. Commendable job from Maruti. They are standardising LED Projectors now.

I just checked the Baleno's official website. So Maruti did not come out with 1.5 l diesel heart for Baleno.
Shouldn't the thread title be changed as I think it is misleading people to think that the car has actually been launched with a 1.5 l motor.

I booked Baleno Zeta(p) in December on the notion that the face-lifted version will be launched only by mid 2019. I was sad on learning that the new Baleno was going to be launched much earlier than I expected and that too with the new Touch screen infotainment system in Zeta variant. But after going through the official feature list, I am happy that I bought the pre-facelifted version because I would have missed UV cut windows as well as leather wrapped steering in the new version which are difficult to retrofit. I expected the new Baleno to come with rear center arm rest (like Hyundai introduced it in facelifted i20) and also rear ac vents.

I am also surprised that the Zeta variant has touch screen infotainment system but misses out rear camera. I guess that the infotainment system supports rear camera input but I don't think they will place the camera at default location ie in the chrome garnish at the rear in the Zeta variant. So the bumper won't be visible in the camera feed.

BTW the new alloys are so ugly..

Nothing could be uglier than those 1st gen alloys which looked like mere cheap wheel caps.
This one, though doesn't look so premium, atleast looks like alloys. Definitely an improvement itself.

Its really sad that only the Alpha gets UV cut glass now. That was one of the coolest features (pun very much intended) added to a mainstream car in recent years. I would rather have that instead of LED headlights. Much more useful in our country.

Yes, one can mimic the tint to a certain extend with some expensive aftermarket film. But it doesn't look as cool in person and there is also the risk of removal by cops when that season is upon us.

Good that they haven't removed the rear wash wipe from Delta.

Agree this is one cool feature in Baleno that isn't available in any other cars. Very useful in summers and l I wonder why no other manufacturer thought about this feature in their cars. Maruti doesn't even offer this in it's other cars as well, like the Ignis or Scross, wonder why. I can already feel the summer heat.
