Re: Maruti aims to increase its dealership network by 10% this FY

Maruti Suzuki may soon offer a sweeter deal to its dealers.

Quote:
Maruti now plans to alter its strategy and invest in setting up dealerships instead of just purchasing land, as dealers, especially in big cities, often complain about the rising costs of operations.
-Maruti Suzuki will build new showrooms at its own cost and lease them out to dealers, who will bear the operational expenses

- Plans to tap its cash reserves of over ₹30,000 crore to absorb the bulk fo capital costs of its dealer partners

Quote:
The auto maker would incur the capital expenditure for establishing them, while the dealers would bear the operational expenses
Quote:
The new plan aims to boost the financial strength of Maruti’s dealer partners as competition is expected to intensify from existing and new companies.
Maruti plans to gradually grow the number of such dealerships.

Re: Maruti aims to increase its dealership network by 10% this FY

Since the sales figure of Maruti Suzuki has increased dramatically towards time, I am looking forward to accessing its production line-up easier and easier via its premium dealers. Hope the plan can come true. Previously, if my memory served me right, around December last year, Tata Motors also opened 6 dealerships at Rajasthan within one day.
