Well said. As a matter of fact, Crysta is also a fleet vehicle only considering the number of corporate yellow boards that are running in!

What India and Indians need is RAV4 to place it between Innova and Fortuner!

There exists a gap between Innova and Fortuner, which can easily be filled with a 2.0 RAV4, Petrol and Diesel.

RUSH will be a mini innova compared to RAV4. RAV4 comes in a 5 and 7 seating configurations, but 5 seater would be an ideal to take on the likes of Compas, Tiguan, Q3 etc.

CHR can prove to be an expensive proposal for indian market, and it has all the chances of going the Etios way, failure!

CHR in EU comes with a 1.2 Turbo engine, which could be the best way forward in case Bharat Toyota wants to launch it.

Toyota needs to get better engines to India. They have the under-powered D-4-D on most of their vehicles (of course it is awesome in the Innova Crysta) and there is news that Toyota will use Suzuki's 1.5 L mill in the new Corolla.

The JDM Wagon R (Heartect based) behind the C-HR is an interesting vehicle too.

The C-HR is not coming to India, Maruti & Toyota will tango to use the Heartect chassis for future launches, certainly, the C-HR with its slide-like roofline and small windows won't cut it here. The SUV market is primarly diesel, and the C-HR doesn't have that option either.

Safely ignore any speculations of the C-HR or HR-V coming to India.

Actually it is being tested for the Hybrid adaptions to future Suzuki - Toyota cars for India.

It's not Toyota. As you can see it's KA-51 plates and Continental written on the sides.

IT's next to my office in E-city. See it everyday being driven around sans camouflage.

Continental have imported it for themselves and I don't think it is anything for Toyota.

Toyota has a couple of options here.

CBU won’t undergo any camouflaged tests. I believe this would be CKD. I hope but hardly believe that this is locally manufactured.
