Is Tata Motors working on a Nexon JTP version?

Saw this while browsing the net.

Apparently, Nexon JTP will have a Diesel engine. Frankly, would have preferred a better, 4 cyl petrol motor. Especially with the recent Supreme Court decision directing premature termination of diesel babies.

Spotted this Nexon JTP(?) test mule a while ago. Not sure if they will continue with the project after the seemingly poor response to the Tiago/Tigor JTP twins.

That yellow Nexon is a dealer customised vehicle. Many websites had done stories on it a few months ago.

That car looks as high as the guy who thought it would be a good idea.

Tata is doing a good job with the latest updates to help boost sales before Bs6 kicks in, JTP at this point wouldn't make sense IMO. Lot of things needs to be sorted at the moment.
