BMW Group has launched its first integrated dealership for BMW, Mini and BMW Motorrad products in Chandigarh. The brand calls it 'BMW Facility NEXT Concept', where products from all three brands will be showcased under one roof.



Krishna Automobiles is located at 125 Industrial Area, Phase 1, Chandigarh. The showroom is spread over 50,500 sq. ft. and can display up to 7 BMW models along with 4 BMW Premium Selection cars. The Mini showroom has space for 3 cars and a section for Mini Lifestyle and Accessories. The BMW Motorrad section will showcase 12 motorcycles along with merchandise and accessories.



The new dealership also houses aftersales facilities like service and spare parts. It has dedicated service bays for BMW, Mini and BMW Motorrad vehicles.

Nice way to experience the BMW lifestyle.
I can already see Suzuki plotting something similar to uplift Suzuki Motorcycles. As such they have already granted the 2 wheeler dealerships to those dealing in cars.
Imagine Nexa, Arena, Truevalue, CV and Suzuki motorcycles all in a strip mall style. Will result in huge savings for the dealer.

Only logical and it's a win-win for everyone. Showroom space is better utilised, customers get more locations & dealers make more money. What's not to like?

I'm frankly surprised that we still have standalone stores for a brand like Mini. Just club that real estate with BMW cars & motorcycles.

Welcome move, running dealerships is a high capex low returns business. Good that BMW is helping its dealers extract more value.
They may also add rolls royce later.

I imagine a rather outlandish benefit to bmw.
When papa would buy his 3/5 series, the teenage boy will demand and get his gs310r from the same place, win-win.

Starting at 2.99L - this is atleast a 10 times cheaper entry point into that brand than ever before. The target crowd is different and so would be the numbers.

I'm not sure how the Motorrad setup is going to handle this either, and here they are going a step ahead and putting the whole brand experience with Mini and their car division in the firing line.

See these pictures of the initial delivery experience in Bangalore from earlier this week. The situation is a far cry from what they've handled till now - one delivery a couple of days and such. Now imagine a Mini or a 5-series customer put into this mess!

Ok, it might reduce post the initial numbers - but what about service? The numbers, however small - are going to create issues at some point here too, because there can only be one or two such setups for a city.

I think they should retain the 310cc class outside of this new showrooms. Or convert the existing Motorrad setup to only handle the 310cc class, and shift all their premium offerings under this new roof along with Mini and the BMW car division.

BMW Group India has inaugurated two new dealerships in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. EVM Autokraft now represents BMW and BMW Motorrad in the largest sales and service facility in Thiruvananthapuram. The new facility showcases the range of both BMW cars and BMW Motorrad motorcycles.

The showroom is located at Survey No.947, Kadakampilly village. Karikkamuri, Vangiyoor, Triruvanathapuram whereas the service facility is situated at Plot No. 39, Kochuveli Industrial Area, Kochuveli, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The dealership is headed by Sabu Johny as Dealer Principal, EVM Autokraft.
