![]() WOW! The car looks great. I just hope they do not mess-up at the launch like typical TAMO fashion. No Auto, limited engine options, messed up QC, price! This is a segment which has limited to no competition and can give the competition a serious headache! Way to go Pratap bose, glad to have invested in TAMO stocks. If only now JLR's fortunes can turn-around with their new cars (especially in China!)

![]() Does Tata have plans to experiment on a low-cost 4x4 with the HBX? With the compass and inclinometer and all? This could make an affordable 4x4 and a serious off-roader. All they need is the drive train. Last edited by discoverwild : 7th February 2020 at 11:33.

![]() This is definitely the BEST and MATURE DESIGN from Tata so far. The HBX looks almost production ready. The omissions from this to the actual launch would probably just be in the Skid Plate Design and Road Tyres. The HBX looks to be a segment above the Ignis ad KUV100 and would be slotted in between the Altroz and the Nexon in terms of pricing.

Senior - BHPian | ![]() An absolute head-turner! I'm sure this will stir up under-4 SUV market. I love that flat hood, straight belt-line and flat hood. Please give us a TC AT at top variant and not an AMT, Tata. |

![]() Yes I came across this tweet but in an interview with Autocar, he mentioned that the model on display is 95% production ready and the X is for the remaining 5% concept. The video ended with Renuka mentioning that we can expect the launch in the next 2yrs. I think they themselves got the information from Tata representative and it is also convincing given Tata's previous track record with the Altroz. That said I'd be the happiest if this is not the truth as the it looks stunning and seems like a very promising car especially with Tata's obsession with building safe cars. It's an ideal city car IMO and this should head to the showrooms at the earliest. ![]()

![]() Wow, That looks ugly to me. Reminds me of the KUV 100 from the rear. The Bonnet is the only area which looks good.

![]() Video itself starts by saying heavily camouflaged and you came to the conclusion already that the rear looks ugly ? I couldn't make out anything much at all and for all we know, the camouflage might be hiding cuts and creases. Let's wait for the full reveal before starting to bash at least.
