I feel its an early prototype of the 45X premium hatchback and not the Hornbill.

Would have expected the Hornbill to have a more upright / tall-boy stance

Do we need so many pseudo SUVs on Indian roads? Manufacturers are redefining SUVs for Indian roads, I believe.
What we need is full size SUVs with affordable price tag and safety.

Perhaps the Ford Freestyle is what they are targeting. Its sales numbers clearly indicate there's definitely a market for a compact SUV done right. More power to us consumers!

Looks like a Tiago on stilts! Harrier is still coming with so many features deleted, hope this stays away from that trend.

Saw a Tiago in blue colour (which I believe is discontinued)with red number plate and a few camouflaged bits today morning near the Chinchwad TATA plant. Not sure what is being tested and wether this post is relevant in this thread.

This is not the Hornbill but the same X451 hatchback. These were the earlier test mules without any production exterior parts.

^^ Exactly!! This looks like a crude version of X451 which may be one of the first prototypes to begin testing. It cannot be the SUV. Not sure why they were confused.

Hey buddy - 45x premium hatchback has a different design altogether in these two comparo pics. For example, if you focus at the ORVM’s holders on the RH driver door, they are completely different along with ORVM designs. Also, going a little further towards the front, the design of the bonnet and headlights prove to be a different cars in these pics

That square boxy classic stance. The huge headroom. The two step seating. Those picture windows. And all that Disco-Luxe inside.
