![]() A 1.0 litre turbo with DCT, hmmm. Call me old school but I would like a bigger engine with a nice TC gearbox. I have driven the Ecoboost in its previous version and wasn't really impressed. The peak figures are quite misleading and don't really suit an "SUV", a 2 seater small sports car perhaps!!

![]() Any info if the 1.0L turbo petrol will be available in Manual transmission ? The news is only about DCT AT for 1.0 and a 1.4L NA Petrol. The 1.4L petrol will not avail the 4M car benefits. And the 1.0 AT will be expensive.

![]() Hyundai has a winner in Venue. The design looks fresh, very proportionate. Only if the tail lamps were slimmer, otherwise great design. Last edited by fz_rider : 2nd April 2019 at 14:48.

![]() Rear looks yummy and those black interiors are drool worthy. Only Hyundai can pull off black interiors so well because of the good quality plastic parts that they use. Pity that most of their cars have a combination of beige interiors.

![]() Not really a fan of that chrome grille, looks overdone to me. Also, at the back, the model looks more like a raised hatchback. Hide the logo and it might resemble a VW model to quite an extent.

![]() It looks like a compact car ! than a scaled down Creta/SUV. Though not trying to find out any resemblance, but its rear design hints me of a new-gen Volkswagen Polo. But overall it seems to be a good design with right amount of new-ness, features & functionality. Personally i find it as a car worth waiting.

![]() ![]() Ahead of XUV300 launch, Ford has already added the premium instrument cluster in Titanium, Titanium+ and Signature, which was coming earlier with top end S trim of EcoSport. Now launch of Hyundai Venue could help prospective buyers of other baby SUVs, to get more premium features in lower trims.

![]() Not a fan of the design. It doesn't gel with any other Hyundai. I agree ,the first thought that came to my mind when I saw the rear was VW family. That's not a good thing. VW has bland styling. The front and rear look like two different car styles. This chrome grill is too in your face. Reminds me of some Chryslers. How will this fit into Hyundai's plans? Seem out of place to me. Last edited by chittybang : 3rd April 2019 at 11:07. Reason: Spelling

![]() Being confirmed to launch on May 21st, 2019, the Hyundai Venue will take on the likes of the Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300 in the country. As for the global markets, particularly the USA and Australia, this SUV will replace the Hyundai Accent Hatchback.

Petrol with its upfront low cost seems economical calculation wise, but spending twice the fuel charges every month than a diesel creates heart-burn. | |
