Exteriors:
Hope they get the bright Sportline colours like the Corrida Red and Dragon Green :-) Looks too similar to the Style & L&K in the white. Is that grey the Nardo Grey colour offered in the Octy Rs?

Interiors
Looks like they have the full Sportline treatment including Alcantara + leather seats, integrated headrest in front, flat bottomed steering, 9.2 Columbus, scuff guards, brushed aluminium type dash/door panel inserts and sports pedals.

Why would Skoda call it the Superb Sportsline and not the Superb RS or VRS ?

Doesn't look like it is. Can't see a 4x4 badging on the gear knob or the hatch which is provided on the Sportline sold overseas.

Can't even spot the drive mode switch button on the console anywhere! Look at that empty array of buttons around the gear lever area! Just a PDC button - no self park either. No TCS off switch?!

Because Skoda doesn't sell a Superb RS globally. RS to the Octavia is what the Sportline is to the Superb.

The Red definitely should be there; the teaser page on Skoda India website feature the red number

Skoda Superb Sportline bookings open unofficially.All cosmetic with no mechanical changes is expected.

Bookings for the Sportline have unofficially opened, with dealers accepting Rs 50,000 as an initial booking amount. The Superb Sportline will be priced between the base Style trim and the top-spec Lauren & Klement variant.

The Sportline comes with a blacked-out exterior package which replaces all of the Superb’s chrome elements, adding to its sporty appeal. Up front, the grille and headlamp inserts are finished in gloss-black. The car also gets mirror caps, side skirts and a boot-lid spoiler – all in the same gloss-black finish. Additionally, a set of 19-inch, gloss-black finish alloy wheels will also be on offer.

Inside the cabin, the Superb Sportline gets an all-black treatment with a contrasting red stitching. The car is fitted with new sporty seats with Alcantara inserts, aluminium pedals, and some carbon-fibre trimming on the dash to complete the package.

The alloys don't do justice to the car. Not sure if it's because of the image but those alloys look like wheel caps to me and hence spoil the side profile. Also in White, the Superb Sportline looks like a stripped down corporate edition car because of the black elements in the design (grille, mirrors, etc).

IMO, the Superb is an executive sedan and should look classy, old school thought.

IF it is the new EU spec 2.0 TSI, then the output has to be 220 bhp or 280 bhp (if 4x4). But unlikely!

Definitely going to be cosmetic upgrades. The 2,0 tdi and the 1,8 tsi expected after looking at this.
