From what i read in this thread the LWB Indigo sounds like a great news if it comes with a DICOR engine. What are the other differences w.r.t the earlier indigo.

Can somebody (Milin?) summarize the differences between the LWB Indigo and the SWB Indigo..

I am hoping that the Ground-Clearance is atleast as better as the previous one else by increasing the WB, the GC goes for a Toss, and we run the risk of scraping the bottom at Speed Bumps on the outer-ring road in Bangalore..

Okay then this is the Indigo I saw in Cochin (no regn) with the new Orange-Rust-Gold color and new stretched and flattened grille + new headlamps - it did look slightly longer to me, but I didnt think the new Indigo would be out so soon.

Well the differences between the SWB and LWB are not much they are as follows:
1) New Front Grille (as explained by Steeroid)
2) New Headlamps
3) New Rear Badging (TwinCam 16 Valve etc)

From the insides dint get a good view, but will post any info..

the ground clearance looked decent on the LWB.....

Good to know about the new LWB Indigo. I am sure Tata will plonk in capable engines into this. My only worry with Tata releasing something so soon is whether the R&D is fully done or it is the Tata way of doing R&D (on customers)?

lets pray....

Lets just pray that TATA's have this time removed those cheap looking wheel arches...and the body claddings...! and also if the number plate is moved to the boot instead of the bumper...! cant wait to see the "New" indica!
