Price of 7.35 is quite a bit for it.

Looks very very promising to me. I think this car is one of its kind and should sell alot. I really liked the interiors. Good work Tata.

Is it launched or yet to be launched??

It has Power Seats and Lumbar Support.

Also its instrumentation with the lights on looks like that of a Veyron.

7.3L ex-showroom means 8L+ on-road Delhi That's Verna territory & more expensive than the Fiesta. Are they sure it's gonna sell at that price?

I was thinking the same. 8L for what is basically an Indigo? Maybe it will work as a great fleet car for Hotels and Tourist Taxi operators. No self-respecting self-driving guy will drive one of these. This is only for the chauffeured. The average age of a typical owner will probably be 45 plus, at least.

It sure is a unique kind of car here in India. That much we have to give TATA.

But will they be able to justify the premium over the standard Indigo? For similar money wouldn't an Innova be better?

This car will surely be favourite for chauffer driven cars.... Legroom cant be matched...Indigo rear seats were damn good anyways...with rear reclining option...this car will surely sell... The only area where Tata needed some attention was in refinement, just hope they have sorted it out... more so since it comes at 8L price bracket....
Man, this is truly the best out of TATA stable!!!!!

Some high resolution pics:

Side indicators on ORVMs - very costly replacement, I'm sure!

The price is the issue here. A buyer will certainly think n times to spend more than 7 lakhs on a tata product. Verna and Fiesta will win the ticket no matter how much superior XL is. Interiors such as dashboard, steerings etc are modified versions from original Indigo. A new interior would have been appreciated.

I just spoke to an dealer in Bangalore.

The new Indigo will be launched on this Sunday. There are only 2 models, 1 petrol & 1 Crdi. The price of the petrol is Rs 7.64 Lacs & Crdi is Rs 8.45 Lacs. Both are on road prices in Bangalore.

The vehicles should be in showroom by saturday evening or monday morning.

Hope this sells well with this price band.

Regards
Deepak

Thanks for the excellent pictures steeroid!!!! But the price looks to be on the higher side :(... It might be better if they could have launched the Magna with Dicor engine at this price tag..
