Dont think the all new Indica will make it this soon...

I guess, it will be the DiCOR version of the Indica/ Indigo...

A Dicor for Indica or Indigo so soon cant be possible either.... ought to be something just as a mere upgrade or a mod in the head or taillights I beileve....

So soon??? I'd say... so late...

They better act fast before the Suzuki (Fiat) multijet diesel are here... I believe the only factor favouring the DiCOR will the lesser price...

Will the DICOR also come with the Turbo Intercooler system..!
I'don't think the Indica XETA Petrol will be in for any cosmetic update anytime soon since it will complete One year of launch on 15 January..!
DICOR would mean a better FE + Power Boost for the already small car market diesal leader TATA..!

its very early .. it will be a surprise if its released in Jan'07 although some auto magazine has predicted its release in Jan 07 in Oct'06 issue.

Swift Diesel is still a couple months away. I read a comment from Jagdish Khatter in some newspaper a couple of weeks back.

Now this is very interesting. Let's hope they launch the DICOR versions of the Indica / Indigo and the 2.2 Safari DICOR - that would be a nice triple whammy, wouldn't it?

OD caught new indica testing, and even had a drag with their Fusion. This probably suggests that 100BHP DOHC Twin cam is in.
So now we will have 2 indica's
1.2L 65bhp one to take on the 2.5-3.5 bracket and a 4-4.5L 100bhp one for the Swift/Getz category.
Hope they do something to the diesel too. the IDI engine has had enough life.

But its the Indigo which needs new brawn. Sales have dropped to around 2500/month, and a new DICOR + new petrol engine with new gearbox should bring it back in reckoning.
90BHP 1.4L DICOR at 5.5L, if that happens then Fiesta and Verna have true cometition.

Guys,

Can somebody confirm this? My friend is in final stages of booking an Indigo and I have asked him to hold on after seeing this thread. LWB+DICOR is too good to be missed. He is ok with waiting till month end.

Awesome! Is it with the longer wheelbase too - there was an XL that was displayed last year.
