A test mule of the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross facelift has been spotted in Bangalore, which suggests that the vehicle could be launched in India in the coming months.



While the test mule was wearing heavy camouflage, we can spot side steps, roof rails and a shark fin antenna.



The updated Isuzu D-Max V-Cross was unveiled at the 2017 Thailand Motor Expo. The vehicle sports a new grille finished in grey flanked by revised projector headlamps featuring integrated L-shaped LED DRLs. The front bumper has been tweaked and comes with grey inserts and a silver scuff plate. It also houses a pair of circular fog lamps. The pickup truck also gets new multi-spoke alloy wheels.



In the international market, the new D-Max V-Cross is offered with a 3.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine which makes 176 BHP and 380 Nm of torque and comes with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.



In India, Isuzu sells the D-Max V-Cross with a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 134 BHP @ 3,600 rpm and 320 Nm of torque @ 1,800-2,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and a selectable four-wheel drive system.

Wow that's a nice catch !

Hope they bring in the AT variant with this facelift. The AT will make the V Cross more appealing to a wider audience. Going by the number of trucks I am seeing regularly on Delhi NCR and Haryana roads, it seems Isuzu is doing brisk business atleast in this part of the country.

The facelift / refreshed version is already on sale in Thailand since Nov. 2017 i believe & this is what it looks like;

If we go by the rumours, it's coming. It'll make things easier in the city which is just what the V-Cross needs with its heavy steering, sheer vehicle length and long throw MT gear-shifter.

Unfortunately, the Auto will be 1.9 Liter engine with 2WD.

Definitely not the 3.0 From what I heard from someone who works there, it is most likely the 1.9, 2WD version.

Isuzu just launched in Pakistan. It will most likely be the 3L with 4WD manual and auto options although I wish they bring the 1.9L with auto transmission which is supposedly more fuel efficient and outputs decent power for most of its intended usage in urban conditions. You can check the new face coming to India by searching for Isuzu Pakistan. It is sold by Ghandhara Industries.
