Do they have ABS and dual airbags? My Father in law has been driving a M800 since last 15 years and is willing to change it. He has zeroed in on Alto 800 due to multiple reasons, but I told him that it might be discontinued. Can anyone be sure about this?

Bharat Stage VI (BS-6) compliant Maruti Suzuki Alto is seen undergoing emission testing in India.

The test mule, which appears to be a Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, is equipped with an emission testing apparatus, attached to the exhaust system, while we can see that the main unit is placed inside the car. Unlike the regular Alto 800, the test mule only comes with a simple Alto badging on the left and the Suzuki logo at the centre.

Hasnt Maruti Already announced that the BS-VI car is on sale? I drove the new one and yes it sounds quite different to the older model.
