Did you ever sell a car for reasons other than an upgrade?

I remember that we had a red i10 in the family for almost 7 years from 2010. It was the perfect beater car. We had to sell it because the engine failed and then started coming apart after almost 200 K kms of hard driving over village roads. For a tiny petrol car, it was so VFM. We still have fond memories of it.
Another car in my extended family was a lot newer but was sold just because it was in an accident and everyone considered it unlucky after that. It was an Ambassador Nova and sold before I was old enough to get a driver's license.
