Some good news to beat the dreary pandemic broadcasts. We picked up a 330i Sport in Mediterranean Blue with the Sensatec Black interiors!

Congratulations, this is the best colour combo you can get in 3 series. Very sporty. Green surroundings looks very nice as well.

Since I dropped by when @itwasntme picked up his sweet ride yesterday, and I haven't posted yet, he shamed me into doing this :). We both share the same salesman too.

I picked up my 330i M Sport circa mid-March, just before the lockdown. Too early to start an ownership thread since I've barely had a chance to take it out.

I uploaded the 330i M Sport Specification Sheet and BSI Package brochures as well.

Congrats JFK, the car looks killer. That spec is my favorite, plain on the inside, dripping mocha and cinnamon goodness on the inside. A reverse choco-bar, if you will. Many congrats, and do post a thread later!

If you both don't mind can you please disclose what kind of deals you were able to get on the cars?

@sv97 - It was about 5L off on the on-road price in BLR and was able to get them to roll in the BSI Plus (Option code: 07D7) for the 3Yr/40K coverage. That was before the lockdown. Since the lockdown eased, they seem to have gotten a bit stingy with discounting on the Petrols. Hope this helps.

Thank you @iliketurtles. I liked the Mediterranean Blue the most, but it is available only on the 320D. The M Sport had rather dreary options. For better or worse, White was the one that I liked the most amongst the 3 color options on the M Sport, and they had it in stock and were able to offer a decent deal. Real problem for me would have been if they had the 330i Sport version at the time I got mine. That would have been a difficult choice to make.

Congratulations guys! Wishing miles and miles of happiness. I know it is difficult to pass a Bimmer after a test ride. What else did you guys consider?

I had an A4 2.0 Quattro with 6 Speed manual earlier (in US), and something like that would have been an option. But the German big 3 are pretty much all Automatics here. A4 was long in the tooth with a puny engine and front wheel drive. I looked at the C class also, but wasn't so enamored to even take a test drive. The new 3 was an easy choice then. Plus, both the dealer and service station being close by was another factor.

What deal did you get on it finally? Share with the group or PM me directly please. In my case, it’ll replace my Jetta. I don’t have appetite to maintain 2 Germans. Do you? (so, does Octy stays or goes?). Also, do we get choice on interior Colors in your blue shade (Tan, for e.g.) or is it always black?
