IL&FS to auction its luxury cars; here's the full list

Debt-laden IL&FS group firms are selling high-end cars, office furniture, electrical appliances and other assets in a bid to raise funds.

The Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (IL&FS) and its various group firms have invited bids to sell 36 luxury cars, including brands like Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, Land Rover, Honda, Toyota and Skoda.

IL&FS has set a base price of a little less than Rs 9 crore for these vehicles.

Don't see the logic behind selling 2017 GLE 350 and 2017 GLS 350 for just 10% price difference.

How does one apply for this bid?

This is just like Prime Minister Imran Khan's plan of selling Buffaloes & BMWs to solve Pakistan's debt problems.

Do these bases prices seem reasonable? I somehow feel they are being over optimistic with these base prices in the auction. Esp given that these are company owned cars and probably have seen their share of rough use if not abuse.
