Re: Hyundai Creta: A few minor changes being released on 11th Jan, 2019

I managed to capture the external changes today. It's just LED tail lamps. Couldn't discern anything on the headlamps or body. The facelift is going out from all bookings done in January onwards, as told to be by the saleswoman at Kothari Hyundai, Kharadi, Pune.

I forgot - the Auto badge has been moved under the side mirrors, which on the previous model was on the boot.

Lights do look spectacular in person..

And don't know if this is a change but do seek a chance to move the co-passenger seat to the farthest back point..gives you immense leg room. Not seen in any SUV.

It is plug and play from the pictures that I saw when it was on sale in AliExpress. Only issue is the cost - ~₹43,000 for the set.

2019 Hyundai Creta gets ventilated seats, LED tail-lamps & more

So Hyundai gives silent updates to the Creta now. This ad appeared in today's newspaper. Didn't keep a tab on recent features that went in the facelift but the LED tail lamps is certainly new and a welcome thing. Only things I disliked in the Creta facelift were absence of roof rails and the boring tail lamps. Pre-facelift had better.

The other major one I can see is Ventilated seats at the front.

Overall, looks like either they have been looking after this thread or the customer demands, or they have been feeling the heat from the (upcoming) competition and a slight effort to move it a segment or a half above, so their upcoming Brezza rival has an ample segment space to compete.

This makes the first batch of Creta feel equipped as a cave! This will also help the brand Creta to fend off competition from Harrier, while ensuring sufficient product differentiation from their upcoming Sub 4M Compact SUV.

About time Hyundai beefed up braking on the Creta, potentially add a rear disc setup. Braking isn't confidence inspiring, esp. on the auto variants at highway speeds.

New Creta EX variant launched in both diesel and petrol

https://www.autocarindia.com/car-new...84-lakh-412224

Quote:
Hyundai has announced that the Creta EX has been priced at Rs 10.84 lakh (1.6-litre petrol MT variant) and Rs 10.99 lakh (1.4-litre diesel MT). And as reported by us a few days ago, the new Hyundai Creta EX sits above the base Creta E+.

The Creta EX 1.6 petrol comes with features like front fog lamps with daytime running lights, a rear-seat armrest with a cupholder, adjustable rear-seat headrests and a rear parking camera.

In addition to the features on the Creta EX petrol, the EX diesel gets a 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering-mounted audio controls, two tweeters and a USB charging slot with a 12V power outlet at the front.

Prices increased to make way for Kia SP2.
Further more prices of creta will be increased and then SP2 will be 5 seater and Creta will become 7 seater. Clever moved by Hyundai

Re: Hyundai Creta: A few minor changes being released on 11th Jan, 2019

Does anyone know whether these LED taillights are plug and play into the pre-facelift model and if yes what is the cost if I plan to replace it from Hyundai itself?

The OEM ones are neither on OLX nor Amazon/Flipkart. Don’t want to order from Aliexpress in the prevailing conditions.
