Will the new Palio and Punto be sharing this engine or will they have the JTD?
I think The ounto may come with the VGT 88 BHP version.

the 5 bhp can be achieved by redesigning intake tracts,exhausts,different ecu maps etc.
5 point injection means that the first four injections of fuel are in short bursts while the 5th is a larger one.so instead of a sharp rise in pressure inside the combustion chamber,the cylinder is heated more smoothly and the pressure build up and combustion is less sudde.so you can achieve better nvh,more torque and better emissions.

this engine is the JTD.suzuki has renamed it as DDIS.
well the palio will surely have the 1.3 JTD.punto will probably have the 88bhp version and a 100bhp petrol engine.
the fiat linea will have the 1.9JTD.

Palio will have... But if things go at the same rate... By the palio, the palio gets the 1.3 JTD... Palio would be too outdated...
