Re: Car designs you didn't like initially, but then warmed up to? To me, it has rather been a sort of transformation with change in generation. I hated few cars for their stodgy appearance but only until such time a relatively much uglier one was launched.
1. The first car, the appearance of which I disliked the most was the Ford Escort. However with the launch of vehicles like the first generation Sonata, first Generation Swift, the first and second generation Dzire, the Mahindras such as, KUV 100, Xylo, Quanto, Verito, Nuvosport et-al., my dislike has melted substantially. By this time, however, the car itself has been discontinued.
2. The second car that I initially disliked was the Pal-Peugeot 309. The unusually shaped rear glass panel was the main culprit. Somehow this car grew upon me and I started liking it. Frankly I do not know the reason as why and how it happened.
3. Tata Sierra was another one which I disliked initially. Here the large fixed glass panel window for the rear passengers was to blame. The inability to open the window and allow fresh air to enter into could induce sickness to some. This feeling was short lived and in fact I started loving the stance and overall composition to a large extent. |
