the front looks yukkkk. the first gen optras had the daewoo grill which was ok. the second gen looked really good with the clean bumper and bonnet. now this. they do something good and then go backwards????

The interiors look okay more modern.

Its really sad GM has spoilled a good looking car. The original Optra 3 grille looked much better, the NY edition looked ok but this look horible. What were they thinking. The SRV is a good looker from the rear not the front.

In fact, GM has often been criticised for uncommonality of parts which raises costs, cuts quality, raises production times, increases inventory, and imposes more demands on component suppliers. Like all lean automotive manufacturers, commonality of many parts is essential for cost and production efficiencies, and for maintaining quality since parts involved for the entire company (which may have many models) are lower. Fiat has achieved a lot through just this strategy, by having more common parts. Of course, parts and styling vary across segments (cannot expect Lexus to have the same interior parts etc as say an Aygo), but in a similar segment, this is more efficient and with higher quality.

Must say the new look rather looks as being seen for too long. SRV front lights design are the same as my old outdated Corsa. Let us hope that they do not change the side profile of Optra, because in my personal preference, I consider Optra as the best looking from the 100 percent side profile when viewed at level.

The shape of the headlights looks a lot like the New Maruti Baleno.

Oh no..
Hope they dont turn this car into a Srv.

I like the Srv...But its different..I mean its a hatch..

Optra should have sharp lines...Maybe an exterior treatment as seen on the Aveo would look cool...than the simple looking SRV..

The Optra NY edition (older Optra) looked way better, as compared to this feeble attempt to face lift this car. I think with this face lift it seems to lose its original charisma.
