Congrats

I like the 18" star design more. Also i believe this is the same rim & same tyre spec which come on the c300d.

Are they giving RFTs or normal? If you ride on potholed roads, go for 18 inches, it will be practical option but if this is a weekend car then you can go for 19 inches.
Graphite Grey. Stay in Gurgaon which has a lot pot holes hence may just go for 18 inch. They are giving normal. Understand that all performance cars in india (including m's) give tube-less

Congrats on the booking! You should go for 18" because our road conditions just doesn't support low profile tires. 19" will give harsher and noisier ride compared to 18", and also the constant fear of sidewall bulge or bends in the rim will destroy the fun out of owning a high performance car.

Sorry to disappoint you but the CBUs have it as well.

I had the new G63 with me for a few days and it had the 80 /120 speed alert warning. So I'm guessing every car will have it

Congratulations on this! She's a beauty. Got to witness and drive her pre-launch at the plant. On those optional 19 inch alloys the feedback improves drastically but at the obvious cost of practicality.

On a lighter note, I hope we could have connected earlier as I happen to be associated with AMG operations in U.P. and NCR as well.

Will soon be planning for an AMG performance event in August or September this year at the BIC. Hope to see you there! Happy motoring.

Congratulations on getting one of the best looking coupe's out there and welcome to the AMG club. Do share some more pictures of the car or even a full review once you've spent more time with the car. Wishing you many many cheerful miles in with the car.
Cheers !!

So the first issue has surfaced. The trunk / boot is not opening. There seems to be no manual way of opening it either. I am trying to trouble shoot but no instructions either. Will keep you all posted. It has been just about 10 days.

Check if there's a switch inside the glove box to lock the trunk, normally called as Valet Mode.

Thanks @turbanator : found it and now it is working perfectly

TeamBHP rocks. I asked T&T about this issue and they had no clue. TeamBHP and @turbanator came to my rescue

Please do post your thoughts on the driving experience of the creme-de-la-creme diesel performance car in India vs a baby AMG with that sweet twin-turbo petrol V6.

How important is the aural pleasure in the AMG for you? As good as diesels perform in the real world, they just don't have any sort of soundtrack that's worth talking about. And that's something that I first experienced while driving a Camaro with a V6 NA engine. While the handling was honestly quite crap, the sweet sound from the engine + exhaust more than made up for it and I still long for something like that.

I hope your ownership experience of the C43 coupe has been enjoyable! I am close to pulling the trigger on one too and have a couple of quick questions for you which I would highly appreciate your feedback on. How harsh is the ride in comfort mode on broken city roads? Are you comfortable using it as a daily car? And has the ground clearance been particular cause for concern in your experience with rumblers, potholes and speed breakers ? Thank you and looking forward to your long term ownership post!

Re: The Mercedes-AMG C 43 Coupé, now launched at Rs 75 lakh

Hi. The drive is harsh especially on slower speeds and broken roads. But I guess it is still better than any other sports car with similar power. Ground clearance : one needs to be careful. It does hit the bottom of a speed breaker : if you drive over it fast. On a good road she drives like a dream with amazing acceleration. The power, sound (especially in sports plus mode) is exhilarating. The car is a good combination for using it purely as a sports car and at the same time for more frequent use.
