Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Looks like the more rugged engined "standard" BOLERO is now getting discontinued. Soon only the 1.5L D powered Power+ Bolero will be sold and the 2.5L D powered regular Bolero will get discontinued. By the way I didn't know that the Power+75 Bolero is actually nipped and tucked as a Sub4M car and with the 1.5L motor it actually fully qualifies for the Sub4M car category! Mahindra actually has 4 cars in the Sub4M SUV segment then!? Bolero Power+ NuvoSport TUV300 XUV300 Wow! Link - RushLane news article |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Mahindra has shortened the bonnet in BOLERO pickup, can they do they same in Bolero? would enhance the cramped space inside it for good margin. https://www.mahindraboleropickup.com.../overview.aspx |

Also - they have managed to do this on the pickup. Remember - it has leaf springs for front suspension & thus simpler steering design also & no AC compressor motor, condenser coil to fit in. In the passenger Bolero, it has a more elaborate front suspension and associated steering gear. It has the option to fit AC which needs space too.

| ![]() I guess it is time to give some aerodynamism and balance to Bolero by making it less boxier and changing that top-heavy design. ![]() ![]() Last edited by romeomidhun : 13th March 2020 at 17:22. |

| ![]() Original Bolero design looks much better than the later iterations, more so than the latest one. What it needs is a better designed dash board. Newer pik up versions have shortened bonnet. But Camper atleast retains the original bonnet. The original one looks more fullsome. Last edited by simplyself : 13th March 2020 at 19:38. |

The Bolero sportz in dark green with a nice set of alloys, an Mhawk engine or the CRDe would be super cool. I actually found the vehicle to be comfortable even with the leaf springs, it don't bother me at all and the latest power+ is a hoot to drive.

And who started this idiotic trend of family looks resulting in cars losing individuality - at least in terms of looks? And everybody is latching on to this trend as if the world can not differentiate anymore between cars from two manufacturers.

I can't imagine who signs off on these totally unnecesaary "Upgrades". The current face was ugly to begin with and they just made it worse! This looks more like an effort to justify someone's salary than to sync with the taste of the target clientele ![]()
