Also guys - you'd be surprised if I point out that the Nexon unit that was used for the crash test by GNCAP was an XZ+ top trim. Not a base model. Official videos of the test easily show it... GNCAP tests the base model only in cases where the safety feature list is different across trim levels. It doesn't do so when the safety equipment is standard.

Agree with you on this, even if you look at the Altroz GNCAP test mule which was recently tested and gained praises on our other thread, it is the top variant with a Rear Washer-Wiper-Defogger, alloy wheels etc., and not the base model.

Yes, in fact I just posted on the Altroz thread that its not the base model and GNCAP should be careful in their documentation. They have written they selected the entry level model for the test on the result page. It isnt!

Nexon to come with a factory fitted Sunroof. Looks like these days all cars are going to have a sunroof even if the manufacturer cannot budget for 2/4 airbags as standard.

Below link shows pics of Nexon being shot during an ad commercial shoot. Looks like we indeed would see the facelift version been launched very soon.

What makes you think that this is regular Nexon and not an EV? I think it's the later one.

Nexon EV has blue strip and blue markers on the front cladding.

The EV is currently offered in three colours:

Blue
White
Silver

There are pictures of the regular version in more shades such as:

Red
Green

Nexon facelift to get fully electric sunroof like the one shown below(not the pop-up sunroof available as accessory for the existing Nexon):

Nexon facelift..

Didn't check out the video, but Tata deserves a pat on the back for the nice looking beige interior. Much better than the Ecosport. Hope black remains an option for those who prefer it though.

Absolutely - along with that piano black trim! It will be a pain to maintain, but it looks class!

I hope the regular Nexon will also get a similar interior, without the blue highlights, of course (reserved for the EV).

Tata Nexon Facelift to arrive on 22nd January 2020. Tata Motors Shared the information Via it's Tweeter Handle here is the link :

https://twitter.com/tatamotors/statu...368513025?s=21

So here's a walkaround of the much awaited 2020 Tata Nexon.

https://youtu.be/IaQww2KzXAc

The purported 1.4L increase in price might only be for the top-end XZ(O) due to the addition of the sunroof, cruise control, etc. They would probably reposition the variants and increase the prices by 50-60k for the BS6 and facelift. The current feature distribution is very poor - XM is too barebones and XZ is costlier by 2L. It would be great if they offer packs (Rhythm for touchscreen and steering controls) and make it customizable like the Altroz.

P.S: Feels great to finally be part of this community.

Another video in which the Blue and Red/Orange shades of the facelifted ICE Nexon are seen.

So pictures of the Nexon face-lifts at factory & dealer yards have started trickling in. As I had anticipated & many had also seen on mules - the face-lift is coming with Tiago-like center console & not the one from Altroz. What on earth resulted in this decision I wouldn't even want to know. :Frustrati

The silver accents around fog lights are looking quite silly on a white car.
Also visible is a line of Jeep Compass-es in the background.

With the taller face, butch stance & beefier bonnet - the steel wheeled lower trim Nexons are appearing remarkably under tyred! This wasn't the case with the current model.

F2F with the outgoing model on the left. Individual choices, but I find the old model more proportionate.
Especially in the white shade - the blacked out C pillar is reminding instantly of the Tata BOLT.

Colour choice for the steering wheel & button panel on it is quite boring! And still no leather wrap. I am finding it hard to like it.
No cruise control or anything on the RHS except the horn button on what looks like an XZ+.

They have retained that white ceramic strip in the facelift and I hate it. The White color probably hides it with a gray strip. Looks like a full digital cluster as well. Hope it looks better in person.

Yeah not sure how they are going to justify Altroz having the better instrument cluster and center console. I guess another update for the Nexon is in the making.

Agree it does look under tyred. Maybe better in person. If not, it's easy enough to get more stylish rims for the Nexon.

I thought the cruise control was coming to the Nexon. It must be on the XZ(O) trim along with the sunroof.

Thanks for all the pictures and information.
