Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Man did you look at those tyre-killer like spikes in the lower grille?? They sure look sharp and cool. And I think that is a better design for utility as well. Current lower grille is pretty much non existent & really leaves the intercooler/condenser directly exposed to anything flying towards it. The new one seems to made for real protection. Happy to see it. ![]() |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Hmm - seems like a non top trim petrol variant out on test. Looks like the front & rear bumpers are getting simpler. Rear one seems to be getting less sculpted. Other than that of course the bonnet, headlamp housings upfront are getting more "conventional". Surprisingly very few interior shots of this facelift are available when it has been actually running around for months now. I think we only know that it will come with the Altroz steering & cruise control. That's about it. |

| ![]() I am awaiting the launch of the facelift and going by the test mules I thought that the turn indicators have been removed from their eye brow type location to make for more rectangular sort of a design but then I came across this video which showcases the Nexon EV similarly camouflaged but it still has the indicators above the headlamp, refer the encircled part of the image, just camouflaged by the vinyl/sticker. Don't know what to make of it. Is the EV based on the current design and fossil fuel powered facelift would be different than this one? |

While i expect EV and ICE version to have some unique design elements, it might be more with bumper and radiator grille design. Sheet metal would mostly like be the same. | |

| ![]() I believe the body shell or structural members have not gone into a revision here. Which makes it easy for the designers on homologation & us as the structure and shell is proven. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() The facelift looks good for sure, but reminds me more of the Honda WR-V and BR-V, partly because of the grill design and partly because of the headlamp design. ![]() |

| ![]() Frontal fascia looks balanced now, fog lamps area didn't lose all the funkiness yet, they are getting silver inserts round them now, should be okay I guess. Chrome inserts around (which our Indians love) also wouldn't add too much garnish to this design I guess. Rear remains unchanged, which is expected but I wish they take this opportunity to change alloy design or introduce another new design atleast as an option. |

| ![]() Not liking the fog lamp area much. Also, The current alloy design looks best with the existing Nexon. I wanted to update to 17 Inch, but none of the designs are going as well as the existing one - so I have let it be. Change is always welcome, hope the new design comes with something really exciting and doesn't go the Harrier way. Quote:
