BMW Service Inclusive packages for 3 years / 40,000 km are offering service costs starting at Rs. 0.97 per km for petrol variants and Rs. 1.38 per km for diesel variants. BMW has also reduced the cost of other service packages by up to 50%.



BMW Service Inclusive packages are available for the X1 and 3-Series. While the package cost for the X1 is Rs. 38,800 for the petrol variant and Rs. 55,400 for the diesel, the package cost for the 3-Series is Rs. 39,600 for the petrol variant and Rs. 56,600 for the diesel version. These prices are inclusive of GST.



In addition to the 3 years / 40,000 km plan, BMW also offers a 10 years / 2,00,000 km plan. The packages can be upgraded or extended and are also transferable to the next owner.



BMW Service Inclusive covers all regular maintenance such as vehicle check and standard scopes, engine oil service, engine oil top-ups along with service / replacement of air filter, fuel filter, micro filter, spark plugs and brake fluid.

Inquired with Navneet Bangalore and Infinity Bombay. No one knows about this so far. Is it official ? How come the dealers do not have the details ?

That is a massive price cut from the existing rates. I am feeling outright cheated since I have paid close to 4L for the service pack covering me for 10years/1L kms. As per the above report the same should cost a mere 1.38L. That is just unbelievable. More so since I just upgraded my existing 5year/60k kms pack to 10years/1L kms pack in the month of December,2018.

I purchased 10 years/1 Lac kms BSI+RI for my BMW X1 in Mar 2018 at a very ludicrous price looking at 50% reduction in cost and I seek refund.

If BMW India is reading this post, a good business house should honor older clients and as goodwill gesture. It can take example of Maruti Suzuki.

+1. A part of the BSI advantage was that you are protected against a price hike in the future along the course of your ownership. Never thought this would also mean "un-protected" by price decrease.

This is very, very good pricing. Is it the beginning of the end of us German car owners getting ripped off in services? I sure hope so. If BMW remains aggressive, the others will have to follow. Mercedes was the rogue who started this practice of exorbitant service costs. In the mid-2000s, I used to pay 20 - 30 grand for each service of my C220.

As they say, God bless competition . It always makes things better for us customers.

The cost / km will always be higher for 10-year packages than 3-year packages (due to higher replacements involved). That said, the 10-year should be cheaper now and you should be refunded the difference. I'm going to try getting the pricing for longer packages.

Guys. Is is possible to get the similar pricing for the entire model range. I am keen to get it for the 3GT as well

My second point is - can we collectively as a group negotiate something better for people who paid a much higher price initially. Say either some discount (I guess less likely) or alternately some goodwill extension of tenure on our existing packages either on warranty or service front.

I don’t think this will be passed on the other models or even on longer period on these variants.

To me, this looks just like a subvention scheme where manufacturer bears the difference. 3 series is hardly moving, and I doubt this will be passed on to the new 3 when launched. Similarly, retail prices of X1 are so high that they can easily absorb the difference from the discounts. In the past also, they have run such schemes but those were free, and no one noticed, now at reduced prices looks everyone is interested
