It will come with new alloy wheel pattern, which is much sportier than the existing diesel model’s rather dull design. The black and chrome finish goes well with the vehicle’s styling and the blacked out webs will reduce the turbulence to some extent.

Quite similar in design to the face-lifted S-Cross alloys. Tastefully done if you ask me. Dual tone and precision cut are the rage these days when it comes to alloys.

Rightly pointed out. I am guessing it maybe on an incline, like loaded on the back of a truck. I doubt Maruti would change the suspension of a successful model when there were no major complaints with it to begin with.

I think it is looking odd because the pic was probably taken when it was raised in a service bay. May be they were doing some last minute inspection when this pic was taken.

Don't ask me the source, but one of the dual tone shades with Brezza facelift will be Torque Blue+Black roof combo.

Probably to counter the colors of Nexon and Hyundai Venue . But then will the black roof not look odd on the blue vehicle ? White is more appropriate.

How does this Torque Blue look like? Earlier Dual Tone was with Cerulean Blue with Pearl Arctic White roof. So is the Torque Blue different?

Torque blue is the shade which BHPian A4anurag had on his Swift. It comes today in Celerio and Celerio X as well. Attaching some pics:





It's a darker shade compared to your Brezza.

Read the article about the launch date and specs of the upcoming Vitara Brezza. In the bulleted points at the beginning of the article it is said that it will be launched with 5 speed manual and AMT options. But further down it is said that the engine will be mated to a 5 speed manual and 4 speed Torque Converter as rumoured earlier. Can someone please confirm if the AMT spec given in the article is a typo or is it an updated news and they forgot to edit out the torque converter from the article?

From all the recent articles I've read, they talk of Brezza getting the 1.5ltr petrol mated to a 4 speed TC unit, the same setup that's there in Ciaz and XL6. I also read that even the S-Cross will get the same set-up. I'm hoping they launch these cars in the expo.

Yes, S-Cross will also come with the same 1.5 petrol setup mated to a 4 speed TC automatic. Confirmed by a Nexa sales guy.

It is a very interesting(risky?) approach by Maruti. They just want different models churned out of same drive-train while the competition is providing 3-4 engine-transmission options for each of their models.

Ciaz, XL6, Ertiga, Brezza, S-Cross and possibly XL7 will have same engine-transmission options and will be sold across Arena and Nexa showrooms, only highlights the lack of depth in technology or still worse lack of willingness to provide options to customers.
