Maruti has teased a new image of the upcoming Vitara Brezza BS6 is on their Twitter handle indicating the launch today at 12 noon. The new Brezza looks very promising from this angle and the new dual tone alloys looks sweet.

Rear looks good with the new tail-lamps. The rest of the car shows its age, at least to my eyes!

Hope the pricing with the petrol variant is competitive - this is perhaps the only product in the segment without a turbo, and coupled to an ancient 4-speed AT!

Honestly quite disappointed with the new Vitara Brezza.
In a time where safety is becoming a priority for the car buyers, all I could hear during the unveil was STYLE and POWER (but nothing mentioned about horsepower or torque).

And also no segment-first or best in class features offered here!

I think the EcoSport's Dragon engine is without a Turbo too.

Did they announce the price yet?

Poverty of a car manufacturer at its best. Otherwise, why they are doing all this hype around a minor facelift?

True, now that the Ecoboost is discontinued - but the Ecosport motor produces a lot more power, and is mated to a far superior 6 speed TC gearbox.

No price announcement was made! Looks like an unveil only (Not sure what was so drastic about these changes to unveil it ahead of the launch) and the launch would happen later.

That too - when the Brezza is their only 4-star rated product! Probably avoided stressing of safety, to avoid questions on other cars in their range.

You said it quite right. Honestly no mention of any new segment first features, no mention of additional safety features, connected car technology, no mention of power figures etc only confirms that it will be similar to what is already offered in other Maruti cars like Ciaz and Ertiga.

They were clever in not mentioning the mileage as well

MSIL's target audience is the new generation car buyer and being one of then and having interacted with few of them, I can say that style and mileage is secondary for us.
All that matters is safety!
