- DCT variant has 2 airbags, right? Not 4 or 6?
- Is the IRVM manual in both the variants? No auto-dimming?

DCT variants have two airbags. I kind of forget to check that part stupid:
IRVM is manual in all variants. There are like 3 buttons in the IRVM all for the Bluelink but no Auto-dimming.

Also, I forgot to mention that the Air Purifier is a separate Black device which eats into one of the cup holders. Like the photos that were leaked before. I tried removing the bottom base of the purifier but it seemed stuck on the cup holder. Hope its removable else one less cup holder.

Seems like this guy was able to film the cars at the stockyard clap:
SX(o) and SX+ can be seen.
Must say, the denim blue with white dual tone looks strangely nice!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTpgrN1jGuQ

HYUNDAI VENUE

PRICE (EX-SHOWROOM)

SX+ 1.0 Petrol DCT Rs 12 lakh

Ex Showroom 12 lakhs :Shockked:. In that case, the On road price of this variant will be northwards of Rs. 15 lakhs, in Bangalore, which would be suicidal for Hyundai to price it.

From the Video of stockyard, it's confirmed that Sx+ will not get rear wiper, and no idea about defogger. Even the rear centre armrest is missing.

.

Hi deep. Any word on the rear wash wipe? I saw a video some time ago that showed an SX variant with rear wash wipe. The youtuber reiterated quite a few times that it’s an SX variant and not SX(o) or SX+. Do you remember what you saw?

It is disappointing to see Hyundai stick to the strategy of not offering the automatic in the top trim, with the attendant safety / comfort & convenience features.

Not sure why most manufacturers feel there is no market for a true top-end automatic! Are these decisions driven by data?

Well I wouldn't be surprised if this actually happens. May not be 12 but it definitely will be 11.5+ considering EcoSport T+ AT pricing (11.4L ex-showroom Bangalore). Agreed EcoSport comes with 6 airbags but our market doesn't care about that, rather prefers blingy features. This being DCT and a turbocharged engine was expected to be more expensive than competition plus being a Hyundai I won't be surprised if it sells well just like the Creta did.

It's just a reflection of how the car prices have shot up in recent times. XUV3OO ex-showroom in BLR is 11.49 for petrol top end and 11.99 for diesel. OTR for diesel should already be close to 15L (if not above it already) for the latter. So there's already a good reference point here.

But as it looks apparent now, SX+ DCT is not a true top-end. If it's really priced at 12L, then we can pretty much rule out any possibility of a SX(O) DCT being launched in future.

I had been in a similar situation when Creta was launched in 2015. I was given a dealer price which was about 2.5L less than the original price. I really hope that these are the actual prices, but I have genuine doubts.

This is what I was provided by the dealer a few days before Creta was launched. Later they clarified that these were dealer booking prices and everything else was calculated based on that. And we all know at what price it was launched.

So with just 3 more days to go, we should stop speculating prices and wait for it.

Hey, I saw that video as well. The YouTuber was wrong, he was looking at SX(O) but thought it was SX because of the SX badging.
SX(O) comes with SX badging as well.

So yeah, no luck on the rear wiper on SX/SX+.

Enough reason for people to know why Pre-Delivery Inspection is necessary.

Anyone who is buying a new car would expect the car to be brand new and only handled by professionals (until the delivery time). We all are aware what people do to cars on display in showrooms and for the same reason they are sold at lower prices.

This is not shocking (considering that most authorised dealers have zero professionalism), but is quite sad because car sell like hot cakes (atleast soon after launch, all thanks to the hype created by manufacturers these days through teasers, unveil, display and final launch) and not everyone is serious about pre-delivery inspection or even inspection at the delivery.

A new video just popped up showing the vehicle from behind. I'm sort of disappointed with the Grand i10'ish rear looks.

Hi Friends
I have been a member but have been a silent reader. My quick comments on the car and will be happy to hear fellow BHPians feedback - Yes, the cost increases due to this features but by how much ? Come on Hyundai, let the consumer choose his options and pay for it. But atleast offer this choices?

Another video of the top end. Would love to know more about the air purifier and from the looks, it should cost a bomb.

The best air purifier (that I'm using) is a Sharp Plasmacluster. Costs Rs 7000 in India. It looks similar to that.

Regarding fewer features than expected from Hyundai, I recall they were the first to spoil us with all the bells and whistles, when compared to competition. Why change the tack now?
